Matthew John Floe-Commission Chairman

“John” is the Resource Specialist Parent Educator for Sutter-Yuba Mental Health Services. He has been responsible for Family Resource Centers at Ella and Cedar Lane Schools. While in the Air Force, he provided advance planning for deployments for 3,400 personnel and their families. He holds a B.S. in Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University and an M.A. in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.

Joseph W. Cassady, D.O.

Dr. Cassady, D.O. is the Yuba County Health Officer, practicing preventive medicine and public health. Dr. Cassady graduated from the Ohio University College Of Osteo Medicine and has been a physician for 21 years. He has been on the First 5 Commission since its inception.

Mary Jane Griego
Yuba County Supervisor, Third District Appointed: Jan. 6, 2004; Term exp: December 31, 2006*

Supervisor Griego was elected to the Board of Supervisors in 2000, and re-elected in 2004, serving as Chair in 2005. She graduated from local schools, and has two sons and a step-daughter. She manages the family restaurant, Duke’s Diner. She serves on 14 Boards, Councils or Commissions.
