¿QUÉ ES UN GRUPO DE JUEGO?
A playgroup is a gathering of similarly aged children and their parents or caregivers. These regularly scheduled groups support children's social development, ease the transition to school, and improve overall health, while also providing social and health support to parents, knowledge sharing, and learning opportunities.

Los primeros 5 viernes se llevan a cabo en el espacio al aire libre de la biblioteca del condado de Yuba, el primer viernes de cada mes a las 10:00 am. El propósito es crear un espacio para que los niños de 0 a 5 años se reúnan para jugar y para que los padres/cuidadores recopilen información sobre los eventos y servicios de First 5, hagan preguntas sobre el desarrollo y los hitos de su hijo y aprendan formas divertidas de ayudar a su hijo a aprender. y crecer
Cada mes tendrá un tema diferente y una actividad divertida para que los niños participen y/o se lleven a casa.

Adapted Physical Education
Adaptive Physical Education is an interactive program for Yuba County children with special needs, ages 3-5.

Held the 1st and 2nd Wednesday of the month, from November -January at Tri-Counties Community Center.
Activites include:

November: Parachute Play, Cup Stacking, Bowling & Obstacle Courses

December: Balloon Tennis, Ball Games, Golf & Beanbag Toss

January: Hockey, Scooter Board Races, and Soccer

Ayúdame a hacer crecer los grupos de juego
Financiado por First 5 Yuba County, la sesión de 18 semanas de Playzeum de Playgroups estructurados conecta y educa a los padres/cuidadores y ofrece un entorno lúdico para que los niños socialicen y aprendan.
Los grupos de juego se ofrecen semanalmente en Olivehurst y Wheatland y son GRATIS para las familias del condado de Yuba con niños de 2 meses a 5 años.
Se requiere una tarifa de materiales de $ 20 para la sesión de 18 semanas, pero hay becas disponibles para cualquier persona que lo necesite.

PALS Playgroups
PALS Playgroups, Funded in part by First 5 Yuba County, are an opportunity for children with special needs to participate in a playful environment to socialize and learn while connecting and educating parents/caregivers.
Playgroups are offered monthly and open to children with special needs, ages 0-5 years. Playgroups are hosted in English but families speaking all languages are welcome.
