has answers!

Early detection changes outcomes. Developmental delays don't wait for convenient screening windows. They need to be caught early and consistently. Whether you see families weekly, monthly, or annually, YOU have the opportunity to screen.

ASQs help you:

  • Catch delays early when interventions are most effective

  • Track development over time to identify emerging concerns

  • Build trust with families through consistent, proactive care

  • Meet program requirements and best practice standards

  • Connect families to support before small concerns become big problems

  • Document developmental progress in your work with families

You are the key. Families trust you. When you prioritize ASQs in your work with families, you become part of a safety net that catches developmental concerns early.

Make ASQs Part of Your Routine:

✓ Integrate into your existing workflow (appointments, visits, assessments)

✓ Complete in English or Spanish

✓ Takes 5-10 minutes—families can often complete independently

✓ Immediate way to discuss development with families

✓ Creates documentation of developmental screening

We handle the rest. When an ASQ indicates a concern, Help Me Grow Yuba County provides care coordination and connects families to services, at no cost to you or the family
