The Keys to Quality Workforce Pathways Stipend Program is offered through the Child Care Planning Council and  is funded through matching funds from the California Department of Social Services, First 5 California, Sutter County Children & Families Commission, and First 5 Yuba. The  program is dedicated to increasing the quality of early learning programs for children ages 0 to 5 and their families by supporting the education and professional development of an effective, well-compensated, and diverse early learning workforce. The program offers stipends to child care providers and early learning teaching staff in licensed and license-exempt settings, Family Childcare Providers, as well as Family, Friend, and Neighbor providers.

Help Me Grow Yuba County can answer questions and assist with accessing valuable community resources that help your child’s growth and development. The Help Me Grow Care Coordinators (specially trained public health nurses) work with you to identify your child’s needs and refer you to local agencies that fit best for your family.  Services are tailored to each family and may include enrollment into a developmental screening program, coordination of community agency referrals, family navigation and more.
