What is it?
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is book gifting program that mails free, high-quality developmentally appropriate books to children from birth to age five, no matter their family’s income. Each month a new book will be mailed in your child’s name directly to your home.
This is a FREE GIFT for Yuba County children through Dolly's Imagination Library and funding from First 5 Yuba County.

A gift of $15.50 sponsors one local child for a full year of high-quality, developmentally appropriate books through Yuba County's Imagination Library. Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps put more books into the hands of local children.
Who is eligible?
Preschool children ages birth to five who are residents of Yuba County.
How can I get FREE BOOKS for my child?

Be a resident of Yuba County.

Visit the Imagination Library Website to complete the registration (or come into our office to register in person).

Books are mailed to the address listed on the official registration form.

Please allow 8 to 10 weeks after your registration form has been submitted to start receiving books.

If at anytime you move (within Yuba County), please update your mailing address in order to continue receiving books.

Due to Proposition 10 budget limitations, First 5 Yuba Dolly Parton Imagination Library is currently limiting monthly enrollments. Please allow additional time to receive your first book. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
